Traumasensitive Couple Therapy – Book Illustrations
Type: Illustration Project
Year: 2018
Client: Katharina Klees, Junfermann Verlag
I collaborated with author and therapist Katharina Klees to create illustrations for two of her publications on trauma-sensitive couple therapy:
- Traumasensitive Paartherapie – Mit dem Traum(a)-Haus-Konzept aus der Beziehungskrise
 - Arbeitsbuch für Paare zur traumasensiblen Paartherapie

The books offer therapeutic tools and exercises for couples dealing with emotional wounds rooted in childhood trauma. My illustrations supported the Traum(a)-Haus model, visualizing abstract psychological concepts in a clear and empathetic way. The goal was to make the material more accessible and engaging for both therapists and couples.
Illustration Focus:
- Conceptual diagrams explaining trauma dynamics
 - Visual metaphors for emotional states and healing processes
 - Layout-enhancing elements to guide readers through exercises

These illustrations helped bridge the gap between clinical theory and personal experience, making the books more inviting and easier to navigate.
